(DAKTRONICS-NAIA FOOTBALL SCHOLAR ATHLETES) DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Thursday that 319 football student-athletes have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Taylor (Ind.) led all institutions with 14 individuals on the list. Kansas Wesleyan had three student-athletes named as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes.

(Full release from CoSIDA) The 2014 Capital One Academic All-America ® College Division Football Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has been released and Kansas Wesleyan's Daniel Moss (SR/Lakeside, Calif.) was selected as a member of the 25-member team that includes student-athletes from NAIA, Canadian and two-year institutions.

STERLING, Kan. – Senior Taylor Sachs (SR/Georgetown, Texas) set a new Kansas Wesleyan record for receptions in a season with 75, but his efforts in Saturday's season finale against the Sterling Warriors were not enough as Sterling beat the Coyotes 62-35 at Smisor Stadium.

LEAVENWORTH – If the game only counted the second and fourth quarters, the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes would have defeated the Saint Mary Spires 22-14. However, all four quarters count and Saint Mary outscored Wesleyan 35-0 in the first and third quarters to come away with a 49-22 win over the Coyotes on Saturday at the USM Football/Soccer Complex.
