Kansas Wesleyan did not have an answer for Ottawa's Becca Colson as the Braves would upset the Coyotes in five sets – 20-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-16, 15-12 – to win their second straight KCAC Tournament Championship on Saturday night at Mabee Arena.

In front of a large raucous crowd the Kansas Wesleyan Volleyball team looked poised to sweep the Friends Falcons on Friday night at Muir Gym. However, the Falcons had other ideas, rallying to win the third and fourth set, but the Coyotes would out forth a dominating performance to win the fifth set to advance to Saturday's KCAC Championship match against Ottawa.

After advancing in the quarterfinals of the KCAC Volleyball Tournament, Kansas Wesleyan will play host to the KCAC Volleyball Tournament semifinals and finals on Friday and Saturday at Mabee Arena. Semifinal matches will be at 6 and 8 p.m. Friday, with the Championship match set for 7 p.m. Saturday.


All four top seeds in the tournament advanced to the semifinal round with victories in Tuesday's quarterfinal matches. Top seeded Wesleyan defeated Saint Mary in five sets, second- seeded Tabor swept Southwestern, third-seeded Ottawa knocked off sixth-seeded Sterling, and fourth-seeded Friends swept fifth-seeded McPherson.
