Kansas Wesleyan Athletics and Genesis Health Club have joined forces to hold an indoor tennis match on April 28 when the Coyotes will face Central Christian College at 9 a.m., at the indoor courts at the Genesis Health Club located at 1830 South Ninth in Salina.
It was lining up to be another match in which the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes would have to rally from an early deficit to pull out the win on Tuesday afternoon at Oakdale Park against Fort Hays State University. Things didn't fall in place for the Coyotes as the Tigers beat Wesleyan 6-3.
Kansas Wesleyan's Macy McMakin has been named as the KCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her efforts in a pair of wins for the Coyotes last week.
The Kansas Wesleyan Tennis teams opened a busy Saturday of action for Coyote athletics with matches against the Bethany Swedes in the Coyotes' KCAC openers at Oakdale Park in Salina. The Wesleyan women rallied for a 5-4 win, while the men fell to the No.25 ranked Swedes 9-0.
The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has announced its All-KCAC Women's Tennis teams and three Kansas Wesleyan student athletes were named to the All-KCAC teams, and two individuals earned honors from the conference as well.
