Ryan Showman has been an assistant basketball coach for Kansas Wesleyan since the start of the 2007 – 2008 season. In his time as an assistant, Coach Showman has helped the Lady Coyotes to a four year record of 92 – 34. He also led the Coyote Men’s and Women’s Golf Program from 2007 – 2009.
Showman played basketball for former Kansas Wesleyan head coach Jerry Jones and was a three year letter winner for the Coyotes. Upon graduation in 2004, Showman taught Physical Education at Schilling Elementary and was the assistant boy’s basketball coach at Sacred Heart High School.
Coach Showman received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from Kansas Wesleyan University in 2004 and a Master of Science degree in Physical Education from Emporia State University in 2008.
Coach Showman resides in Salina with his wife Jenni and daughter Kinsleigh.
