Why I chose KWU: to be a part of the KWU women's basketball program
At Mendocino College: 2009-10…averaged 11.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in 24 games, led the Eagles in scoring and assists. 2008-09…averaged 9.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game as a freshman…named All-Bay Valley Conference and team captain as a sophomore.
High School: Attended Elsie Allen HS in Santa Rosa, Calif., graduating in 2008…four-year varsity player, three-time All-North Bay League selection, two-time All-Redwood Empire selection, two-time team captain.
Personal: Parents' names are Frank and Jama Giammona…one sibling Jared…brother Jared played basketball at Mendocino and then Lewis-Clark State…also related to Louie Giammona, who played six seasons in the NFL, five of them for the Philadephia Eagles, one for the New York Jets; Louie also played at Utah State where he was a two-time All-American and was named to the Utah State All-Century team and the Utah State Hall of Fame.
