Blake Reynolds has been the women's soccer coach at Kansas Wesleyan since July 2013. Reynolds brings to Kansas Wesleyan with a breadth of knowledge and experience leading successful soccer programs. He most recently served as Director of Soccer Operations at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga., before taking the position at Kansas Wesleyan.

Prior to his position at Oglethorpe, Reynolds served as head women’s soccer coach at Midland University in Fremont, Neb., for four seasons. While at Midland, he led the Warriors to a 45-26-7 overall record and a 31-10-2 record in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. He led the Warriors to a top-3 finish all four seasons under his direction and led the 2009 team to the school’s first-ever NAIA National Championship Opening Round appearance. He coached more than 30 All-GPAC players and one NAIA All-American. His teams were also successful off the pitch, earning the NAIA Scholar Team award all four seasons under his direction. He also served as the 2012 GPAC Women’s Soccer Chairperson.

Before Midland, Reynolds coached at his alma mater, Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan., where he served as the head men's assistant for two seasons, and the head women's assistant for one.  At Baker, Reynolds helped guide the men's team to a 2008 conference tournament championship and reached the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Final Site, finishing the year ranked No. 21 in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.

Reynolds, who holds an NSCAA Premier Diploma and a USSF National 'B' License, began his college coaching career in 2006 as a graduate assistant / interim head assistant at NCAA Division I South Dakota State, helping lead SDSU to its first ever championship that season, defeating IUPUI in the title game of the United Soccer Conference tournament championship.

Reynolds graduated from Baker University in 2003 with a degree in psychology, and in 2009 finished his master's degree from South Dakota State in sport pedagogy.  At Baker, Reynolds was a standout center-midfielder, garnering three-time First Team All-Heart of America Conference honors, three-time All-Region V honors, two HAAC conference championships, two region final appearances and a region championship.  During his senior season, Reynolds helped lead the Wildcats to the programs first-ever national tournament appearance and was rewarded as an NAIA & NSCAA Honorable Mention All-American.

In 2008, Reynolds was inducted into the Baker University Soccer Hall of Fame.  To commemorate 20 years of rich soccer tradition, the program created an All-Time Starting 11 team.  Reynolds was voted in as part of the midfield group.  Reynolds has also accomplished a unique feat, reaching the NAIA National Tournament as a player, an assistant coach, and as a head coach.
