After hitting three homeruns and batting .400 for the week, Kansas Wesleyan's Kyle Story was named as the KCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week for his efforts last week for the Coyotes.

Story played in six of Wesleyan's eight games as the Coyotes posted a 5-3 record on the week which included a four-game sweep of McPherson to even the team's KCAC record at 4-4.


Story, a sophomore from Lakewood, Colo., hit .400 on the week, going 6-for-15, with a double and a team best three homers and a team best 7 RBI. All three homers came against McPherson in the four game series.


Wesleyan has won five straight improving its overall record at 15-10. The Coyotes are scheduled to play Hillsdale (Okla.) at home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Wesleyan then steps back into KCAC play on Friday, hosting Bethany College at Dean Evans Stadium.
