Pauline Yang has earned the KCAC Libero of the Week weekly honor for her efforts in two matches for the Kansas Wesleyan last week. It marks the third time this season that she has earned the weekly honor from the conference.
The Coyotes went 1-1 last week, posting a 3-set win over McPherson on Tuesday night before losing a 3-set match to Ottawa on Thursday night in Ottawa. For the week, Yang averaged 5.83 digs per set, tallying 35 total digs on the week. She also had a .923 passing percentage on the week against two teams that are aggressive with their service game.
Wesleyan is 15-11 overall and finished the first half of the KCAC season with a 7-2 record. The Coyotes open the second half of the season tonight (Monday) at home against Friends University. The varsity match begins at 7 p.m., and is preceded by a JV match at 5:30.
