WICHITA – Kansas Wesleyan senior forward Stephanie Frost has been selected as a unanimous pick by the conference coaches to the KCAC Women's Basketball Preseason All-KCAC team as released by the conference office on Friday afternoon.

Frost has been named a First Team All-KCAC performer all three of her previous seasons playing with the Coyotes. She was named as the 2009 KCAC Freshman of the Year, and eclipsed the 1000 point plateau last season. She needs just over 400 points to break the KWU Women's Basketball scoring record of 1568 points held by Joedy Zimmerman.

Frost joins Southwestern's Zefiryn Bryan, Friends' Abril Marshall and Tabor's Katlyn Mary as unanimous picks on the Preseason All-KCAC Team.

All returning ALL-KCAC First Team and Honorable Mention 2011-2012 performers were nominated for preseason honors. Head Women's Basketball Coaches also had the opportunity to nominate other key members from their teams. The team is made up of five seniors, three juniors, and two sophomores. Of the 10 athletes listed, six are from Kansas.

KCAC Basketball Media Day is Tuesday, October 9, held in Wichita. The event will be streamed live on the internet at the KCAC iHigh Portal – http://kcacsports.ihigh.com.

Kansas Wesleyan tips off its 2012-13 season, the first under new head coach Ryan Showman, on November 1 in Fremont, Neb., against Midland University.
